Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2026 · Last Updated: April 1, 2026
1. Introduction
Lockgistics ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Lockgistics platform. Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide directly: When you register for an account, we collect your name and email address. Dealer Members who subscribe to a paid plan provide billing information, which is processed and stored by Stripe — we do not store full payment card details on our servers. When you invite technician sub-users, we collect their name and email address.
Information collected automatically: When you use the Service, we may collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, search queries submitted to the AI, and session duration. This data helps us improve the platform and is not sold to third parties.
Communications: If you contact us for support or submit a quote or order request through the platform, we retain those communications to assist with your inquiry and improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process subscription payments and manage billing
- Send transactional emails such as invite notifications and account confirmations
- Respond to support requests and inquiries
- Analyze usage patterns to improve platform features
- Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Dealer Members and Sub-Users
When a Dealer Member invites a technician sub-user, the sub-user's name and email address are shared with the inviting Dealer Member within the platform. Dealer Members can view the status and activity of their sub-users within their account dashboard. Sub-users should be aware that their Dealer Member can see their account status and any quotes or orders submitted under the company account.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the platform, including Stripe for payment processing and cloud infrastructure providers for hosting. These providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which it was shared.
We may also disclose your information if required by law, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lockgistics, our users, or the public.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing of your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through your account dashboard or the contact information below.
9. Cookies
Lockgistics uses session cookies to maintain your authenticated state while you are logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may prevent you from accessing authenticated features of the Service.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
12. Contact Us
If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us through the Lockgistics platform or via the contact information available in your account dashboard.
