Listing Terms

Listings on Lockgistics are open exclusively to industry professionals who hold surplus lock and door hardware inventory. Eligible sellers include independent locksmiths, wholesale distributors, contract hardware companies, and security product dealers operating within the United States.

By submitting a listing, you represent that you are a legitimate business or sole proprietor with legal authority to sell the items described, and that you are at least 18 years of age. Lockgistics reserves the right to verify seller identity and business credentials at any time and to refuse or remove listings from sellers who do not meet eligibility requirements.

Only new, dead stock items in their original, unopened manufacturer packaging may be listed on Lockgistics. Dead stock is defined as surplus inventory that was purchased new but never installed, used, or removed from its original packaging. Items that have been opened, installed, refurbished, or repackaged do not qualify and will be rejected during review.

Eligible product categories include, but are not limited to: cylindrical and mortise locksets, exit devices and panic hardware, door closers, access control hardware, magnetic locks and electric strikes, deadbolts, power supplies, and related lock and door hardware accessories. Lockgistics may expand or restrict eligible categories at its sole discretion.

The following items are strictly prohibited from listing on the Platform regardless of condition: master key systems or key blanks, any item that is counterfeit, stolen, or of uncertain provenance, firearms or firearm components, and any product whose sale is restricted or prohibited under applicable federal, state, or local law.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and truthfulness of all information submitted in your listing, including the product title, description, condition, quantity, asking price, photographs, and contact details. Misrepresentation of any material fact — including condition, quantity, or authenticity — may result in immediate removal of the listing and permanent suspension of your seller account without refund of any listing fees paid.

Photographs submitted must be of the actual items being sold. Stock images, manufacturer promotional images, or images sourced from the internet are not permitted unless they accurately represent the exact items in your possession and are clearly labeled as such.

Asking prices must reflect a genuine intent to sell. Placeholder, speculative, or unreasonably inflated prices that are not consistent with fair market value may be flagged for review and may result in listing rejection.

All listings are subject to review by the Lockgistics team before publication. Submission of a listing and payment of a listing fee does not guarantee publication. Lockgistics reserves the right to approve, reject, or request modifications to any listing at its sole discretion.

You will be notified by email of the outcome of your listing review. If your listing is rejected, you will receive a brief explanation. Common reasons for rejection include ineligible product type, insufficient or misleading description, poor-quality or missing photographs, and pricing that does not reflect a genuine intent to sell.

Approved listings will remain live for the duration of the listing period associated with the plan purchased. Lockgistics does not guarantee any specific level of buyer traffic, inquiries, or sales resulting from a published listing.

Listing fees are charged at the time of submission and are non-refundable except in the following circumstances: (a) your listing is rejected by Lockgistics through no fault of your own (e.g., a technical error on our part), or (b) Lockgistics is unable to publish your listing within a reasonable timeframe due to a platform issue. Fees are not refunded for listings that are rejected due to ineligible products, inaccurate information, or violations of these terms.

All fees are charged in US dollars and processed through Stripe. By completing payment, you authorize Lockgistics to charge the applicable listing fee to your selected payment method. Lockgistics does not store payment card information; all payment processing is handled securely by Stripe in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

Seller identity is kept confidential from buyers until both parties mutually agree to proceed with a transaction. Buyer inquiries are routed through the Lockgistics messaging system, and your personal contact information is not disclosed to buyers without your consent.

You are responsible for responding to buyer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Lockgistics acts solely as a marketplace platform and is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. All negotiations, agreements, and arrangements regarding price, payment, and delivery are made directly between the buyer and seller.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal of your listing, suspension of your account, and forfeiture of any fees paid without refund:

• Submitting listings for products you do not own or do not have legal authority to sell.
• Providing false, misleading, or materially incomplete information in any listing.
• Attempting to circumvent the Lockgistics review process or platform policies.
• Using the platform to facilitate the sale of stolen, counterfeit, or prohibited goods.
• Engaging in price manipulation, shill bidding, or any form of fraudulent activity.
• Harassing, threatening, or engaging in abusive communication with buyers or Lockgistics staff.
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent a suspension or to gain an unfair advantage.

By submitting photographs, descriptions, and other content to Lockgistics, you grant Lockgistics a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Platform and promoting your listing. You retain all ownership rights to your content. You represent and warrant that you have the right to grant this license and that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

Lockgistics is a classified advertising platform and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any items listed, nor for the ability of sellers to complete a sale or buyers to complete a purchase. All transactions are conducted directly between buyers and sellers, and Lockgistics expressly disclaims any liability arising from such transactions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lockgistics's total liability to any seller arising out of or in connection with these Listing Terms shall not exceed the listing fee paid by that seller for the specific listing giving rise to the claim.

Lockgistics reserves the right to update or modify these Listing Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically.
